Kate has gathered a formidable collection of skills and knowledge during her 30+ years in the film and television industry, equipping her well as an independent producer, writer and content creator. She’s an experienced Producer, Writer, Segment Producer, Line Producer, Production Manager, Production Coordinator, Post Production Coordinator and Researcher with natural instincts for visual storytelling.

Kate established Urban Bird Films in 2011 as a vehicle to create and produce original, entertaining content for screens. She possesses a rare mix of both creative and business capabilities and is excited to be developing Urban Bird Film's project slate whilst continuing to accept opportunities in the freelance world as they arise.
